Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

• Jeff Smith introduces OL Ryan Clanton, a 6'6" 305 lb. junior college transfer out of City College of San Francisco.

In 2009 earned junior college all-American status while playing guard and tackle for a team that went 9-1. 


Clanton is enrolled for the winter term and participating in offseason workouts with the Ducks’ returning players.

• Jeff Smith also introduces JC transfer TE Brandon Williams. Williams is 6'5" and 245 lbs. and played for Joliet College last year.

Williams brings an exciting blend of athleticism and power to the tight end position, using his basketball background to his advantage.

“It’s a big opportunity,” Williams said. “I like challenges. I wish spring football started right now because I’m so ready to get going.”
