Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

Rob Moseley reports that Oregon has moved up to #7 in the BCS and the AP polls and jumped to #8 in the USA/Today poll. Also in this report, the Ducks were in the Moshofsky Center in full pads as practice continues.

John Hunt recounts last years Civil War and the near perfection those Ducks achieved.

But the question remains, how can Oregon State slow down this Oregon team after having such strikingly little success doing it a year ago?

Some would say it doesn't need confidence. After all, the Ducks have scored at least 42 points in ever Pacific-10 Conference game started by Jeremiah Masoli this season.

"I think it gives us a mental edge, knowing we put up that many points last year,'' Masoli said. "And I think as a team right now, as an offense, we feel like we're playing better right now than that game last year. We're playing at a better level now. It's just up to us to go out and execute.''

Just don't expect perfection. That's already happened.
