Road Trip To Boise

We had an easy drive to Boise and about 20 minutes from Vale the sunset started. The picture doesn't it do it justice and it seemed to last forever.

After getting to town we decided to head down to the Grove Hotel which is where the team is staying. We had to park about 2 blocks away. On the walk over to the hotel, who should come out of this little bistro but Mike Bellotti. Yeah that's right, I can feel your rampant jealousy.

So, we chat it up with Mike and head to the hotel bar. Rashad Bauman and some folks I recognized but couldn't put a name to. We rubbed elbows with the friendlies until they shut the bar down at midnight.

From there we start the walk back to the PT and decide to have a nightcap at a little club where all the local college kids seemed to be having a good time. I know entering enemy territory right? Everyone was very gracious and we were joined by some other Duck fans who strolled by a few minutes later.

Good times indeed for our first night in Boise.
