Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

As the Ducks enjoyed their day off from practice yesterday, Rob Moseley did a story on Jerry Azzinaro, the new defensive line coach.

“We have to play at hyper speed, as coach Kelly says,” said Azzinaro, 50, a veteran East Coast assistant who coached at Marshall last fall. “Our defense has to reflect our offense in a lot of areas. We’re going to be the fastest show on Earth on offense, and defensively that’s how we have to practice.”

And Nick Aliotti seems to enjoy the addition of Azzinaro to the staff.

"Aliotti is clearly enjoying pairing with Azzinaro in what Aliotti affectionately calls “two Italian goombahs, just crazy and having fun.”
