To honor the tragic loss of Todd Doxey, Oregon announced that they will issue the football team helmet stickers like the one pictured here. They are also considering letting one member of the team wear his number on their jersey each week.
Bob Rickert over at the OregonLive Duck Blog also had a good idea. "Rotate the number 29 this year. Then every year from here on out, give 29 to the underclassman in the secondary who the coaches feel had the best camp. Make it a competition to wear that number and carry the tradition forward. Javes Lewis might be a candidate for wearing it this year. He's played really well."
