Oregon Football - Lockdown Mode

If you do a little web surfing about the Ducks or Huskies, then no doubt you have read all the predictions, seen the point spread, know the preseason rankings and have digested all the breakdowns for Washington and Oregon.

At this point it is all speculation. No one is proven, no team has seen battle and been tested. Do all the scouting and scheming you like, anything can happen in the Pac-10 on any given gameday (Stanford-USC last year.)

I believe it will come down to what it always does. Play outstanding defense, control the tempo and turnover ratio, mix up your plays on offense, be special on special teams and keep Jake Locker flat on his back behind the line of scrimmage.

I truly believe that Oregon will be prepared and fired up. Autzen Stadium will be deafening and a young Husky team will crumble under the pressure.

My prediction?

Oregon 38 - Washington 21
