Oregon had a scrimmage yesterday and from the sounds of things, the defense outshone the offense. This follows the usual pattern of fall practices in my opinion. It always takes a little longer for the offense to come together.
On the offensive side, Roper had the best performance at the QB position with 3 TD's to Costa's zero. Keep in mind that Roper was up against the 2nd team defense. Blount was not as effective as he was in the Spring game, but he was playing against the first team defense and in the spring he was going against third and fourth team defenses.
For an in depth look at all of the positions check out Rob Moseley's piece on his blog.
