Duck Stuff: Morning Mud

A couple of newsworthy items that came out late yesterday.

The University of Oregon announced that they have reached an agreement to televise University of Oregon sports, including comprehensive live coverage of Oregon football, basketball, track and field and baseball.

Comcast SportsNet will be televising the OSN broadcasts of three live football games; Sept. 6 vs. Utah State at 12:30, Sept. 13 vs. Boise State at 12:30 p.m., and the Sept. 27 contest at Washington State at 3:15 p.m. Comcast agreed to have FOX TV KLSR EUGENE simulcast these three live football games in order to fully serve the Ducks' home market.

Visit their website for all of the information (there are a lot more details.)

The Charlotte Observer reported that the Carolina Panthers have signed veteran WR Samie Parker, who was released by Denver on Monday.

Sammie needs one more year to be eligible for an NFL pension. He should fit in well with the three other Duck alumni, Jonathan Stewart, Geoff Schwartz and Dante Rosario. Good luck Sammie.
