ManCamp V Scouting Trip

I took a few photos on Saturday afternoon just before we got hit with a big thunder and lightning storm, you can see the others at Flickr.

Bob, Chuck, Dave and I were about 22 miles above Hills Creek Reservoir on the Middle Fork of the Willamette river. We had a nice secluded spot that Bob remembered from a camping trip many moons ago.

The river in this stretch had some sweet looking holes but the fish weren't biting as Dave caught the one and only fish in 3 days. We consoled ourselves with some liquid refreshments, man stories and lots of poker. Check out some more photos we took with Dave's camera here.
