This should be a high scoring affair for the Ducks. Expect to see a lot of Jeremiah Johnson and Jonathan Stewart pounding out the yards on the ground.
Through the air, Dixon should find a plethora of receivers to choose from. Jaison Williams should get the majority of catches with help from Garren Strong, Brian Paysinger and Cameron Colvin.
The Cougars still haven't named their starting QB but expect a lot of the action to go to Anthony Alridge, an all-purpose back who goes by the nickname of "Quick Six."
"I look forward to playing Oregon again," said Alridge, a senior, who set a school record and led all Division 1-A rushers with an average of 10.1 yards per carry last year with 959 yards in 95 attempts. He also has plenty of experience lining up as a wideout, so it wouldn't surprise me if they through the ball his way.
Look for cautious plays during the first quarter as both teams get their opening day jitters over with. If the Ducks limit their turnovers, play solid defense and mixup their offense it should be an easy victory on what promises to be a beautiful September day at Autzen Stadium.
