Fresno St. vs Oregon

If past performance is any indicator of future results the Ducks will be the victor in Saturday's match up against the Bulldogs.

Although we have won the last 4 contests, it was only by a combined margin of 17 points. This year, circumstances should contribute to a victory margin for the Ducks of at least 14 points.

Coming off a triple overtime loss to Texas A&M, Fresno St.(1-1) will be without their 2 starting running backs. Oregon is rated 9th against the run in the Pac-10, and although the Ducks improved against Michigan, it still remains to be seen whether Oregon can consistently put a stop to the big running plays.

Tom Brandstater, the Fresno St. quarterback, is mobile, tough and has made much better decisions this year versus last. He has 4 touchdown passes with only 1 interception but will find he has to throw against a solid corps of Duck backs.

All in all, I believe the Ducks "D" will pressure Brandstater, disrupting their game plan and forcing situations that will lead to turnovers. On offense, look for Dixon to continue where he left off. Running and passing Oregon to victory!

GO DUCKS!
