Aaron Brooks savored every last moment of his final game at McArthur Court.
Brooks scored 18 points to help Oregon (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today; No. 17 AP) beat Oregon State 70-49 Saturday.
"The game was exactly what I thought it would be," said Brooks, a four-year starter. "It meant a lot and it felt great to give the fans something to cheer about this year."
Brooks, the Pac-10's leading scorer, made his final claim for conference player of the year. He went 4-for-6 from the 3-point line and 6-for-13 from the field overall.
Bryce Taylor scored 22 points and Maarty Leunen also had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon.
The Ducks (23-7, 11-7) won their final three games of the regular season and have won 14 straight against the Beavers (11-20, 3-15) at McArthur Court. Oregon will go into next week's Pac-10 tournament as the fourth seed and will play Arizona.
This game was just what the Ducks needed heading into the post season and the seniors enjoyed an easy victory as they played their last game at Mac Court.
