Redneck Campfire

Dan had put up a new chain link fence because the old cedar one was in bad shape. Tony decides to use some of the old boards, unfortunately he couldn't get them small enough to fit inside the bbq (the brand new bbq Dan got for Father's Day).

Tony felt really bad about this but it was hilarious at the time. Watching the bucket brigade trying to put it out wasn't half bad either.

Back To Eugene

Hi all!

I just got back to Eugene, and thought I would share a few photos. There is a picture of Casey in a meadow while we were backpacking in the Eagle Cap Wilderness...otherwise known as the Wallowa Mountains. It was beautiful...but as you can see in the other picture...my blisters made the trip short and painful. The beautiful green picture is from Glacier National Park, and the one from the wedding is of Aaron, Liz (my two best friends from college) and I during Aaron's wedding. It was a wonderful trip filled with so many laughs, and a lot love from the wedding. I will remember it fondly forever.

They Made It!

Just talked with Dave during my lunch. Casey and Dave made it to Whitefish today through many trials and tribulations along the way. They spent last night camped at Flathead Lake (picture to the right) which is about halfway between Missoula & Whitefish.

The first night they made it to La Grande and then the next day they decided to just camp at Eagle Cap Wilderness area instead of going for Glacier. Dave got a really bad blister hiking so they came out they next day without getting any deeper into Eagle Cap.

Made there way slowly up through Idaho into Montana over the next couple of days. Wedding will be Saturday and then they make there way home over the next 3 days. All the news for now.

Montana or Bust

The Wild Adventures of Dave
Hi all,

Just thought I would drop a quick note in letting everyone know that I will be gone for the next ten days in the majestic land of Montana. I will be leaving tomorrow bright and early, traveling by car. My buddy Casey and I will first stop in Joseph, and camp at Wallowa Lake. The next night we will be at Glacier National Park, taking in all that it has to offer from a car campsite. The following three nights we will be backpacking through the glorious Glacier. Wish us luck on not seeing (or being eaten by) any bears. Although it would be quite a story to share...seeing a grizzly and all...it is one that I am not ready to conjure up yet. Following our backpacking trip we will spend three nights in Great Falls. I am in a wedding (get to dress up right after backpacking) for one of my dearest friends, Aaron Pitman. After that, we will hightail it home. Wish us luck, and I will post a message with pictures upon my return. I love you all!

Family Reunion - Boys Campout 2005

Hi All,

I personally am glad the boys and I have decided to do this every year and the family stuff should be done more often, was great to see Steve & Jill after all these years. Hope everyone enjoys the photos.

Chuck and I went to play at Diablo's last night...with a total of 30 players in it, we placed first and second. I had to win a few hands that I shouldn't have won to get as far as I did, but Chuck had a huge chip stack at the end. He finished first giving him a $455 pot...and I got $290 for my work. It must be in the genes.
